Teachers Don't Need Stress!

Something about the weeks right after Spring Break bring stressful moments in the teaching field!! First off, spring fever comes in the way of tests!! National tests, state tests, district tests, GATE testing and referrals, Special Education referrals, benchmark tests, .... all I can say is UGH!!! Often I see my colleagues stressed! I have teamed up with some great bloggers who are going to offer you so many tips, there is no excuse this year for stressing out!!

Simply visit each blogger below to enter 4 Rafflecopters with 4 great prizes, not to mention great tips!

                                               1 $75 Amazon gift card
                                               1 $40 Target gift card
                                               1 $25 TpT gift certificate
                                               1 $20 Starbucks gift card

My best advice on how NOT to stress out?  Remember that tests and the results are not a true complete picture of any person, whether it is a child or an adult! DE-stress as soon as you start to feel that prickly tension in your neck!

Grab a favorite drink and cool off (if at school, make it non-alcoholic or you will really have something to stress about !! )  Seriously, take a deep breath, take a swallow, and exhale!

Take extra time for you in your day! An extra few minutes in the shower, extra bath salts, your favorite lotion, mani - pedi time, read, garden, go for a walk, etc.. You get the picture!! Remember, YOU need to care for yourself before you can care for others!
Spend time with people who will take your mind off what is stressing you and remind you what life is really about.  A few extra hugs, kisses, and bonding moments and you will be stress free and ready to take on the world again!

    1. Hey Kathie!! Thanks for stopping by!! Thank goodness I haven't had to live up to my test scores.. I remember in 10th grade I had to take a government aptitude test. We lived near 3 Navy bases and they always came to give us these tests, helped in starting to recruit for some really high falutin' jobs.. I truly stunk at spatial relations and having to figure out which shape was where after it's transformation.... guess there was no chance I would be "parking" the Space Shuttle... which was good for the whole world! hah.
